The Chung tile is white with red print, a little smaller than one of the Pai Gow tiles. The Chung sits on the playing table, at the position of the person who is banking. The purpose of the Chung is simply to indicate who is the banker for that particular deal. When you bank, the dealer will give you the Chung before the bets are placed.
